Cimetière militaire de Saint Sever à Rouen

St Margaret's IB French students found the grave of a young soldier from Canterbury on the Cimetière de Saint-Sever in Rouen. His name was R.H.I. Norton, he died on May 9th 1918.

The girls wore the poppies the students from the collège Etouvie in Amiens had made for them for ANZAC Day, and left them at the grave. The students were overwhelmed by the size of the cemetery which holds 11,436 commonwealth graves, 185 of which are New Zealanders.
