Would I die for my country?

Written by Lucy Parsonson

Transcript:

Written by Theo Lyster

I am very...

Collecter les fonds!

Written by Ailish Wallace-Buckland

Vendredi, sept mars

My school has been generous enough to hold a gold-coin mufti day to raise funds for my trip to France. I couldn’t be more appreciative that they’ve helped me out in this way, and of course I intend to share back the generosity with the knowledge/information that I gain from my experience as a Young Ambassador.

As well as holding a mufti day, I put on a bake sale. Friends from my French and History classes helped put a bunch of baking together for us to sell to other...

Beyond Perception

Written by Josh Hansen

My question is going to focus on perception and in a nutshell it is:

To what extent has the perception of New Zealand War efforts during World War One evolved over time the last hundred years?

I will particularly focus on recognition (In terms of acknowledgement and appreciation) shown towards soldiers in New Zealand...

Quelle opportunité!

Written by Sophie Allan

I have always been fascinated by national identities and how they come to be. So before my meeting with Pascale last Friday lunchtime (28th February), I knew I wanted to base my project around the theme of “identities”. However, I didn’t know how to approach this theme in the manner of a project. When talking with Pascale, she gave me examples of...

My Inquiry

Written by Emma Kane

My Inquiry Question:

What significant aspects of life have changed for teenagers living in France and New Zealand today, in comparison to how teenager’s lived in France and New Zealand one hundred years ago?

Why I have chosen it?

Written by Caitlin Watters

Bonjour à tous!

Voici mon premier blog. I wanted to begin my first post with a bit of French just to get into the habit and I may make some of these posts with the majority in French.

In this first post I wanted to talk briefly on what I plan to achieve and create with the inquiry project we...

Bonjour tout le monde!

Written by Harriet Keown

I am very excited to be one of the ten Young Ambassadors for the commemoration tour in France this year. After years of poring over countless photos of the Eiffel Towerʼs every angle, and imagining myself walking along the Seine on a dreamy Parisian day, it is finally reality that I will actually be there in July. Admittedly, I still canʼt quite fathom the possibility that this dream trip is actually going to happen to me. It really is one of...
