Books!

Bonjour! I got some books delivered (free worldwide postage!) yesterday bought on thebookdepository a few days ago...

... and they are fantastic!

The BD (comic) is about a group of kids that are surviving la Grande Guerre on their own… it teaches lots of little facts about the war and it is pretty easy reading.

The album about Lulu is very well done – the reader gets to see the war from the eyes of a little girl as her brother is writing her letters from the trenches.

Cheval de Guerre is a movie that all my students know and it is going to be used in small photocopied chunks for my yr 11-13s,

and probably read entirely by my more advanced senior boys.

I admit to have bought many other books *in French* at the same time as I got these, but these are the most appropriate so far for my students.
