Nos Fils Nos Familles: Le paquet est arrivé! Un grand merci!

Anne and Maria Anne and Maria

Greetings to our friends in Chauny.

It was with great pleasure that I found in my pigeon hole yesterday morning a package with noticeably French writing on the label.  The French staff opened it with anticipation and pleasure.  Inside we found four group projects and some brochures on visits and sites in the Chauny area related to our project and to our pending trip, a thoughtful gift for our history teacher, Marsha, who is on maternity leave, a packet of bleuet seeds, and a card with kind messages from all four project teachers.

Yesterday during the day we took the package to our principal who was impressed by the personal connections that we have made through the project and she sends her greetings to you all.  We also circulated the contents around the French classes who were fascinated and enthused.  Our school librarian wants to create a display in the library with the EGGS and Chauny projects for all to enjoy.

We are so grateful to the team in Chauny who is making this project so rewarding.  It is also lovely to see your group photos and we look forward to meeting you in person next year.

We at Epsom wish you a wonderful summer holiday and we look forward to your return in September when we will pick up our communications again.

Thank you for the care package and for the thoughtfulness behind the gifts.

Anne and the EGGS team.
