Students from Baradene College of the Sacred Heart in Auckland, NZ and Lycée Professionnel Jean Macé, Chauny, France have worked together on a joint ambitious project to mark the anniversary of the First World War. The local newspaper in Remuera, Auckland called "The Hobson" published an article about our project, book launch for "The Battle of Conscience" and the recent exhibition linked to this project. In the article the newspaper quoted the Principal of Baradene College, Mrs Sandy Pasley, as saying that "We are so proud that the hard work of our students under the leadership of the History Department has culminated in the publication of this wonderful book. As young authors, they have opened the world's eyes to their talents, and had their own eyes opened to the significance of this period of history, and the links that were forged between France and New Zealand during the First World War."
