Shared Histories creates framework in an authentic setting for your students, yourself and you community to develop lasting relationships with a French speaking partner.

Thirty two schools have already teamed up and launched into historical explorations, capturing the process of their findings on their blogs on the platform. The team have total ownership and control of their accounts on SharedHistories, can post when they want. Some schools choose to use the blog functions to communicate between each other, others post when they reach a particular milestone in their common project - Both build a real audience along the way, beyond the classroom

Through building relationships, using language, exploring a theme of huge significance and sharing a common goal, the programme has attracted attention to the importance of the commemoration and the values of peace and cooperation it seeks to promote.
