Funding application for New Zealand Schools

Once you have agreed with your partner on a common project, you may apply for funding up to $1,500 per school year.

How to apply for funding:
The funding application can be found here. It must be submitted by 17 April 2015. To be successful for a grant, your application must include a detailed description of your project as well as an update on what has been achieved so far.

What the grant can be used for:
You have to submit a detailed budget of your project, specifying how you intend to use the grant you are applying for. The grant may be used for:

  • Partial funding of a teacher’s visit to his/her partner school in the initial stage of the project
  • Partial funding of an accompanying teacher’s travel expenses as part of a school trip to visit the partner school
  • Funding some expenses related to the project, such as visiting a museum, printing a book, buying materials
  • Funding expenses related to hosting or arranging activities for the visiting partner school’s students
