The Queen Elizabeth II Pukeahu Education Centre at Pukeahu National War Memorial Park was opened in Wellington with the Shared Histories project by Baradene College of the Sacred Heart in Auckland and the French school Lycée Professionnel Jean Macé, in Chauny, France on display. The success of our Shared Histories Partnership project has been acknowledged by the Ministry of Culture and Heritage in Wellington.

Notre exposition a pu être présentée au collège dès la mi-juin. Tous les travaux ( français comme néo-zélandais ) réalisés dans le cadre de notre partenariat depuis un an et demi ont été affichés. Cettte exposition, de très belle qualité, a eu un grand succès auprès des parents. Elle sera présentée à la mairie de notre commune pour le 11 novembre. L'objectif final serait qu'elle voyage jusqu'en Nouvelle-Zélande, de manière à ce que nos partenaires de Long Bay College puissent aussi en...

Students from Baradene College of the Sacred Heart in Auckland, NZ and Lycée Professionnel Jean Macé, Chauny, France have worked together on a joint ambitious project to mark the anniversary of the First World War. The local  newspaper in Remuera, Auckland called "The Hobson" published an article about our project, book launch for "The Battle of Conscience" and the recent exhibition linked to this project. A large group of Baradene College students  presented an overview of the research project and the steps in creating the exhibition and book. They then read from sections of the book that we launched at the event. Finally they gave a presentation about the trip they went on to France. It was a great event. 

Great to see the support of people, especially parents and families of the students. But also great to Stephen from Defining Moments who drove down from Whagarei and History teachers from around Auckland and Waiheke Island. 

A very big crowd of people attended the opening of our exhibition at the Remuera Library in Auckland. It was fantastic to see so many people at the event.
