Bonjour à tous encore. On the 17th of April, in Wellington, I met the rest of the Young Ambassadors, the organisers of our trip and the task in front of us; to be able to tell the story of those who came before during the Great War. The success of our Shared Histories Partnership project has been acknowledged by the Ministry of Culture and Heritage in Wellington.

Notre exposition a pu être présentée au collège dès la mi-juin. Tous les travaux ( français comme néo-zélandais ) réalisés dans le cadre de notre partenariat depuis un an et demi ont été affichés. Cettte exposition, de très belle qualité, a eu un grand succès auprès des parents. Elle sera présentée à la mairie de notre commune pour le 11 novembre. L'objectif final serait qu'elle voyage jusqu'en Nouvelle-Zélande, de manière à ce que nos partenaires de Long Bay College puissent aussi en...

La semaine dernière, nous avons reçu les travaux effectués par nos partenaires néo-zélandais et nous en sommes très heureux.

Nous avons lu les posters qui reprenaient des thèmes que nous avions nous-même étudiés pour la France et nous avons pu comparer les expériences de nos deux pays engagés dans la guerre. C'est très intéressant. Il y a finalement beaucoup de similitudes malgré l'éloignement géographique.

Baradene College students have handed in our final work that is linked to the Shared Histories Project. We had to individually make up websites about our research that showed our understanding of the topics we researched. Our focus was to present key ideas on our topic that were then explained. We had to focus on the impact on people and the significance to New Zealanders. This work connected the project to the NCEA Assessment we are doing for Level 3. Baradene College of the Sacred Heart students have completed individual research associated with the project they have worked on for the Shared Histories partnership.
