Written by SHTeam

Selected from various schools across the country, the Young Ambassadors had not had a chance to meet in person yet.

This has now happened thanks to a workshop organised by the Education attaché at the French Embassy in Wellington and also Shared Histories project director. The Ambassadors, the teacher in charge of the pedagogical projet and an expert in video story telling came together for a day last Saturday in Wellington.

10am: Welcome and introduction to the Young Ambassadors programme - in April and in July 2018

10.30am: Personal introductions and project outlines

11am: Information on how Kiwi Young Ambassadors and their projects will feature in the video educational resources for schools

12pm: Establish personal inquiry projects - where to start, what to look for, how to gather information

1pm: Lunch

1.45pm: Record pieces to camera, in French and English

2.30pm: Reflection

3 pm: Skype call with Pascale Hyboud Peron - communication and blogging

4pm: Final wrap up of the day and reminders about deadlines over the next few weeks/months
